Existen m\u00e1s de 150 tipos de VPH. Si bien algunos de ellos producen verrugas, la mayor\u00eda no causa signos cl\u00ednicos observables a simple vista. Si no son detectados y tratados a tiempo pueden llegar a producir distintos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.
